Born and raised surrounded by coffee trees, coffee farming is in Raul Lombana Horta’s blood. At just 18, he became directly involved in the coffee production on his family’s farm and eventually went on to develop his own 21 hectare farm which he currently manages with his wife Hercilia. Together they have optimized farm processes and environmental standards on the farm. Focusing on specialty coffee/high quality coffee has allowed Raul and Hercilia to commandeer the prices they deserve for their product and to develop a much more sustainable, fruitful life for themselves. The care and attention to detail is evident in this beautiful cup that is Kenya-esque in profile.
