The Las Flores farm is a family run farm that began in 1990 with 18,000 coffee trees. In 2006, Finca Las Flores participated in the Cup of Excellence for the first time. That moment marked the beginning of their journey in the world of specialty and differentiated coffees. After many years of testing, experimentation, and learning, they began to understand what profiles they were seeking from their coffee and how to achieve optimum quality. They have since expanded to 90,000 coffee trees and are producing a number of unique and high quality varietals. This particular lot is a Pink Bourbon varietal. It was fermented in cherry for 24 hours and then washed and fermented an additional 60 hours. It was was dried in a Casa Elba (rooftop drying structure with a retractable roof.)
