Coffee Story

This certified organic coffee is from La Lindura in Dolores, Tolima and is grown at 1650-1850 masl. La Lindura is a cluster of farms located in the Las Pavas municipality of Dolores, Tolima and only eight farmers contributed to this lot. This lush tropical region is located just south of the majestic Sumapaz rainforest in an environmentally blessed region that has unfortunately been severely affected by armed conflict.

92 pts      Aroma: 9    Body: 8    Flavor: 9   Acidity/Structure: 8    Aftertaste: 8

Blind Assessment: Cocoa-toned, richly sweet. Cocoa nib, apricot, orange zest, cedar, magnolia in aroma and cup. Sweet in structure with crisp, balanced acidity; smooth, silky mouthfeel. Cocoa notes are the throughline in the finish, with hints of apricot and orange zest in the long.

The Bottom Line: A balanced Colombia cup with notes of stonefruit and citrus on top and deep cocoa and rich aromatic wood underneath.
