Cordillera Del Fuego Costa Rica

Coffee Story

Coffee Story

Our Anareobico Cordillera del Fuego is produced by Luis Eduardo Campos, an independent Costa Rican coffee farmer who is continuously pushing boundaries to find new and innovative ways to improve coffee production and quality. The particular coffee is processed utilizing anaerobic fermentation. Ripe cherries are picked and depulped. The coffee, still covered in remaining mucilage, is then put in a stainless steel tank that is absent of oxygen. This creates an anaerobic fermentation process which leads to a very unique flavor profile. We literally take a whiff of this coffee and think apple pie. It's a beautiful new take on the classic Costa Rica profile.
